New Readiness Resources for Managing Potential Civil Unrest Risks
ASHRM has published a series of free tools on for hospitals to prepare for potential civil unrest. These resources, which include tools to evaluate a hospital's Safety and Security and information on Social Media Monitoring, have been distributed by the AHA to hospital leaders across the United States.
As the election nears, the news media has reported fears of potential unrest over the outcome of the elections. While federal, state and local government officials have prepared for the possibility of such unrest, to AHA’s knowledge, no credible threats or information of such activity have come to light at this time.
